The history of ZETOR KOVÁRNA is closely linked to the Zetor tractor manufacturer, established in Brno in 1946. In 1954, the company expanded into the production of bearing forgings, gradually developing specialized forging facilities.

Following the economic changes of 1989, Zetor underwent restructuring. In 2002, the Slovak HTC group acquired the company, and in 2004, ZETOR KOVÁRNA became an independent enterprise.

In 2026, Zetor Tractors announced the end of tractor production in Brno after 80 years, marking a significant change in the region’s industrial history.
