Fondinox Stainless Steel
The Fondinox foundry was established in 1966 with a focus on teemed ingots for the forges.
With the installation of two medium frequency induction furnaces in 1972, this portfolio was expanded by sand mould castings.
Today, cast tubes are an integral part of production, with horizontal centrifugal casting installed in 1981 and vertical casting in 1993.
In 2020 the foundry was expanded with a new melting shop with a pair of crucible furnaces (400kg and 800kg).
Fondinox is currently one of the leading Italian producers of stainless steel and nickel-based alloy castings for the oil and gas industry.
