Olifer Odolo
The Italian town of Odolo, which in 1978 was described by the Financial Times as the “miracle of Brescia,” had at one time up to 13 steelworks and rolling mills with an annual capacity of almost one million tonnes of steel — unprecedented by any European standards. Steel production and processing continues in Odolo today, albeit in slightly more limited form.
The Olifer works started as a small forge established by the Oliva brothers in 1800 already. Over the decades, the company evolved into a major industrial enterprise specializing in hot rolled production of standard and special steel profiles.
As part of the Olifin S.p.A. group, Olifer benefits from close integration with companies involved in steel production, trade, and renewable energy. With a legacy of craftsmanship and innovation, Olifer remains rooted in family tradition while embracing modern technology and sustainable growth.
