Nikopolskyi Zavod Ferosplaviv
On the shores of river Dniepr the world´s largest ferroalloy smelter can be found.
Nikopol plant was built between 1958-1966 and soon became the main plant of such kind in whole USSR.
The annual production capacity of the plant is more than 1 million metric tons of silicomanganese, 250 thousand metric tons of ferromanganese, 60 thousand metric tons of fluxes and 50 thousand metric tons of electrode paste.
