slévárna Kdynium
Precision casting technology using the lost-wax method began to be used in Kdyně in 1954 as part of the former Kdyně Engineering Works. This company, including the foundry, later became part of the Elitex corporation.
On January 1, 1991, the foundry was spun off from the Elitex to form an independent state-owned enterprise.
The joint-stock company KDYNIUM was established on May 1, 1992, from the state-owned enterprise Slévárny.
At the end of 1999, KDYNIUM became part of the PROSPERITA Group.
Currently, KDYNIUM is one of the largest precision foundries in the Czech Republic using the lost-wax casting method and ranks among the leading European manufacturers of precision castings.
