Forge Monchieri
Founded in 1970 by Gianfranco Monchieri in a small machine workshop in Pisogne, Forge Monchieri grew from a local forging business into one of Italy’s leading open-die forging companies.
Continuous investment in technology drove its expansion, including the installation of a 5,000-ton press in 1990 and a 12,000-ton press in 2009. During the 1990s, the company expanded its production area to 20,000 square meters, followed by the construction of additional plants in the 2000s and 2010s.
Today, Forge Monchieri produces open-die forgings up to 120 tons and serves sectors such as power generation, oil and gas, nuclear, naval engineering, and heavy industry.
Its development reflects the long-standing forging tradition of Italy’s Valle Camonica industrial district.
