Mura is a small town in Lombardy near Brescia.

Despite this facture, the metallurgical industry is thriving here thanks to the steel section rolling mill.
The mill was put into operation in 1966 by Acciaierie e Ferriere Lucchini S.p.A. and has been part of the Acciaierie Venete group since 2003.

In 2022, a complete modernisation of the rolling mill was carried out by the Italian company POMINI Long Rolling Mills.
