Acciaierie Venete Buja
The Buja site was founded in the first half of the 1900s by the Vatolo family as a manufacturer of agricultural tools, specializing in the production of high-quality forks.
In the 1970s, the first rolling mill was built to produce small-section rods. In the 1980s, the company Commerciale Siderurgica Bresciana was born and the site was completely modernized and equipped with Danieli rolling mill line. That allowed the production of small flat, round, and square rolled products.
In 1991, the company ran into financial difficulties and decided to sell the
site, which in 1993 was relaunched under the management of Acciaierie Venete with the name Friuli Laminati Speciali.
In 2006, the site became part of the Acciaierie Venete group.
