Schönheider Guss

Schönheider Guss GmbH is a traditional German foundry with over 100 years of experience. Its origins date back to 1903, when the Unger brothers first began casting iron at the site in Schönheide.

After decades of development, the company was privatized in 1993, marking a new phase in its history and leading to the establishment of the modern Schönheider Guss GmbH.

Since then, it has grown into a medium-sized enterprise specializing in iron castings for industries such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and drive technology.

Today, the company is using two hot-blast cupola furnaces and continues to build on its expertise in high-quality casting solutions.
