Urals Stamping Plant

The forge beyond the Urals in Chebarkulin was built during 75 days in 1942 to serve the war needs and supply forged steel crankshafts, connecting rods and other parts for airplane jets.

In 1969 the plant started production of titanium-alloy stampings and forgings for the aerospace industry.

Since 2003 the works became part of the Mechel holding.
