Massard Fonderie

Founded in 1873 in Kayl, Luxembourg, Massard Fonderie began as a family business established by brothers Henri and Jean Massard, who initially manufactured mining carts for the iron mines of Luxembourg and Lorraine.
In 1882, the company expanded by adding an iron foundry, with its first casting produced on 15 October 1883. Over the following decades, Massard diversified from mining equipment into mechanical components, street castings, and construction machinery, while also developing expertise in artistic and decorative cast iron.

Between 1982 and 1986, the company modernized its operations with a new foundry equipped with advanced melting and molding technologies.

Today, under the management of Serge Wurth, a direct descendant of the founders, Massard continues its long-standing tradition of quality craftsmanship, exporting most of its foundry production to neighboring countries.
