Kopalnia Węgla Kamiennego Jas-Mos

Construction of the first mines in the Jastrzębie-Zdrój area began between 1955 and 1962.

The Jastrzębie mine gave its first coal in 1962 and the neighbouring Moszczenica mine in 1966.

In 1993, the two mines were merged into the Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa group.

The Moszczenica mine was shutdown in 1999. The decline of the Jastrzębie mine began in 2015.
