Svoboda coke plant is one of the largest coke producers in Europe.
Established in 1908 and known as Frantisek coke works until 1952.

Currently the plant operates 4 batteries with 210 chambers.

Major investments and modernizations has been done in 2009 because of nearby Sverma coke works shutdown.
