Eurocast Košice

EUROCAST Košice has a long-standing industrial heritage that began on June 19, 1966. Originally established as a foundry for ingot molds and castings, it operated within the former Východoslovenské železiarne. For decades, it played a key role in the regional metallurgical industry.

A major turning point came in 2005 when the German company Silbitz Guss GmbH acquired the foundry. This marked the beginning of international expansion for what would become the Silbitz Group. Since 2006, EUROCAST Košice has been fully integrated into this dynamic European foundry group.

Today, the company stands as the Silbitz Group’s first foreign subsidiary and an essential production site. EUROCAST Košice comprises of two foundry lines - for heavy and light castings.
