In 1934 new mill is established on neighbouring grouds, “Società per Azioni Ferriere & Acciaierie di Udine”, commonly known as "SAFAU".
In 1998 both plants are merged into "Acciaierie Bertoli Safau" and became part of Danieli Group.
100 ton electric arc furnace Danarc was put in operation in 1997. Continuous casting and rolling line "Luna" was commissioned in 2001.
