Plant formely known as "Polskie Fabryki Maszyn i Wagonowa L. Zieleniewski S.A" was founded in 1920 on the southern outskirts of town Ostrów Wielkopolski. Mostly engineering plant was producing and assembling of components for automobiles and railways.
The forge was put into operation during the 60´s.
After privatization in 1999, the plant was renamed as "Fabryka Wagon".
The forge is known as "Kuźnia Ostrow Wielkopolski" since 2006, production focuses components for railroad, machining and mining industries.
