Kralovopolska slevarna

Engineering complex founded by brothers-in-law Filip Porges and August Leder and known as "Brünn-Königsfelder Maschinenfabrik Lederer & Porges" was established in 1889. Primary production was dedicated to train industry and steam boilers, later pumping devices and crane systems.

After nationalization in 1945 and following privatization during the 90´s today´s Kralovopolska foundry, modern-managed foundry for steel castings, centrifugally cast tubing and special castings was born

The steel foundry disposes with two induct and one electric arc furnace, casts manufacture in casting sizes from 100 mm up to 4000 mm is managed by classical or special centrifugal casting.
