Krakodlew

Founded in 1966 as the ingot moulds division of the Lenin Steelworks in Kraków, Krakodlew S.A. has grown from a small industrial unit into one of Europe’s leading foundries. Following privatization in 1995, the company began operating under its current name, marking the start of a new era of technological advancement and product diversification. Initially focused on manufacturing metallurgical equipment, Krakodlew soon expanded its activities to produce counterweights for mobile cranes, drilling machines, and excavators, becoming a trusted supplier for the heavy machinery sector.

Today, Krakodlew S.A. is the largest foundry in Poland and one of the biggest in Europe, known for its high-quality castings and advanced production capabilities. The company operates three induction furnaces with capacities of 25, 16, and 5 tons, allowing for castings up to 120 tons. With the installation of a new cupola furnace planned for 2025, Krakodlew continues to invest in innovation and sustainable growth.
