Franchini Acciai

The modern forge in the middle of agricultural landscape around Brescia was founded in 1968 under the name Forgiatura Bresciana.

The first 1,200 t press was put into operation the following year.

In 1980, Franchini Acciai SpA was founded and continues to operate under this name to this day.

The 3500 t press was put into operation in 1983, the 2500 t press in 1999 and finally the most powerful 8000 t press from Danieli was launched in 2009.

Franchini Acciai´s forgings are focusing on the oil, nuclear and shipping industries.
