koksovna Svoboda

The Svoboda coke plant is one of the largest producers of coke in the Czech Republic. It was founded in 1908 under the name koksovna František.

The coking plant is focusing mainly on the production of foundry coke. Annual production is around 800 thousand tons of coke.

Today the plant belongs to the Metalimex group and operates with four batteries of 210 chambersin total.
